Special Thai Project in Phuket - Overview

If ESL teaching is your career of choice, you have reason to celebrate. The American TESOL Institute in Thailand is offering an unprecedented offer for participants of its Special Thai Project, where you get to work soon after completing the TEFL Phuket course in a local Thai school for exciting salaries. The Special Thai Project is a unique endeavor from the TESOL Institute in Thailand. As soon as you complete your 120 hours of exhaustive training, you are immediately offered a teaching job in a local Thai school for a period of four to five months.

Date of Landing

Don't land later than 2 days before the course start date, as our program starts on Monday sharp at 9 AM. It is best to land before as it gives a chance to explore the place in advance and get acquainted to the region. This is reason why ATI provides accommodation two days prior to the commencement of the course.

Accommodation Availability

Accommodation for the students will be available from 12 noon on Saturday. If you reach before then you have to arrange for the accommodation yourself. Your teaching assignment will start in November (1st week) 2011 and you need to organize your own accommodation during this period. School accommodation starts 48 hrs before the semester start date you will need to arrange your own accommodation for those days.

NB: Your school may be in any part of Thailand, you need to arrange your own transportation to your school from your training venue. We will be there to guide you.

TEFL Program

The TESOL Certificate Program starts sharp at 9 AM. The program is normally conducted Monday to Friday, but additional classes may be organized on 1 or 2 Saturdays also.

There will be a THAI CULTURAL TRAINING COURSE. This Orientation is immensely important for Teachers. We conduct this course for all our participants free of cost.

Accommodation Details

TESOL trainees are provided for double occupancy, well-furnished accommodation in a gorgeous resort. Accommodation for Special Thai Project candidates is free of cost.
