Thailand is somewhere I always wanted to visit. The people are
known around the world for being friendly and welcoming.
Additionally there is a lot of culture and natural beauty I
wanted to see first hand

JESSE
KIPP, USA
I spent a semester in VIET NAM when I was in college and
really enjoyed it I did not get the chance to see much of
south Asia, except for VEIT NAM and thought that this would be
best opportunity to explore another sixth East Asian country |

ROBERT
WISE, AUSTRALIA
I have been Thailand a couple of times before & really enjoyed
the country. The people are very friendly; the culture is very
accepting & understanding. The beaches, countryside & jungle
are very beautiful and there is a board range of scenery and
placed to visit. I felt comfortable and choosing Thailand as a
place to live & work. |

I choose ATI
because I wanted to work and teach in Thailand. |
For the chance
to see Asia and travel. I feel that teaching is rewarding and
after doing my research on this class TESOL was the right fit
for me. I also liked the 6 month contract rather than the
standard year. |
Because I have
always wanted to try teaching but was scared to commit to a
year long contract. This program was ½ of the price for a
similar program in Australia. |
I choose this
project as it seemed to be very reputable as opposed to many
of the other TEFL type course that did not have the job
placement opportunities or support networks. The 4 month
contract that was guaranteed by the project was very important
in my decision as I did not want to commit to 1 year or unsure
what to expect and I did not want to complete a course that
did not help with job placement as finding a job on a foreign
country would be very difficult. |
I choose this
project because of the 4 to 5 month time commitment. I was
very interested in teaching somewhere but was not sure that I
wanted to do it for one year. That was the number one reason,
the fact that it is in Thailand was also appealing. |
I did a lot of
research and the ATI was very popular amongst previous
students. I liked the fact that you were placed in a school
after completing TESOL and all staff was excellent at
answering my question regarding the program. |
I chose this
project because I wanted to get my TESOL certification in
class, not just online. Also I was interested in the 4-5 month
in- school application of the program to try teaching in a
foreign country to see how I liked it. |
I choose this
project because of the time frame. I have always wanted to
travel and live another country but I was not to commit to a
full year program. This shorter program was exactly what I was
looking for. I was also glad to have the TESOL training first. |
Wanted to
explore teaching as a career. I have also always had a passion
for travel and foreign culture. |
